Privacy policy.
Plain version: this site collects almost nothing. No accounts, no forms, no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no cookies set by us. Here is the full picture, including how we handle ad-account data in our studio work.
Who we are
Noontide is the studio site of Noontide Collective, LLC, a California limited liability company. When this page says "we," "us," or "our," it means Noontide Collective, LLC. We are the company responsible for the information described here. To reach a person about anything on this page, email legal@noontide.co.
What this site collects
This site has no accounts, no signup forms, no comment boxes, and no checkout. You can read every page without giving us anything. Three things happen at a technical level:
- Hosting request data. Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) sees basic request data when it serves you a page: your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you request, and when. This is used to serve the site, keep it fast, and protect it from abuse, and it is kept on Cloudflare's standard short log-retention schedule.
- Font delivery. One typeface on this site (Switzer) loads from Fontshare, a font delivery network. When your browser fetches those font files, Fontshare's servers see the standard technical data any web request carries (your IP address and browser user agent). Fontshare's own privacy terms govern those requests.
- Email you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.
What we do not do
We set no cookies on this site. We run no analytics here. There are no advertising pixels, no social media trackers, no fingerprinting, and no email capture. Because there are no trackers, browser privacy signals like Global Privacy Control have nothing to switch off here. No sale or sharing of personal information happens through this site.
How information is protected
The site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and the site is encrypted. We keep no user database for this site. The little that exists (hosting request logs and any email conversations) lives with the providers named on this page, with access limited to our small team, and is kept only as long as it is needed.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The outside services involved in running this site are:
- Cloudflare hosts and protects the site, and sees request data in order to do that.
- Fontshare delivers one of our typefaces, and sees the font-file requests described above.
- Our email provider carries the messages you send us and our replies.
Each provider gets only the piece it needs to do its job. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property. If we ever sell or transfer the business, records may move with it, and this page will be updated.
Google Ads data in our work
Part of our studio work is running and monitoring ad campaigns, for ourselves and for clients. To do that, Noontide Collective, LLC uses the Google Ads API to read campaign and performance data from our own ad accounts and from client ad accounts we are authorized to manage. For that data:
- It is used only for internal reporting and campaign performance monitoring for the account owner. Access is read-only.
- It is visible only to our team and to the account owner.
- It is not sold.
- It is not transferred to third parties, except where required for security purposes or to comply with applicable law.
- It is not used for advertising targeting beyond the account owner's own campaigns, and it is not used to build advertising profiles unrelated to that work.
- An account owner can revoke our access at any time through their Google account security settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions or by telling us to disconnect.
Noontide's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your privacy rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email legal@noontide.co from the address you want us to check, and a person will take care of it. We may confirm who you are before we act, so we do not hand information to the wrong person, and we will not treat you differently for asking. Given how little this site collects, the answer will usually be short.
California residents. The California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not done either in the past twelve months, so there is nothing to opt out of on this site. To make any request, email legal@noontide.co and we will respond within the time the law allows. Residents of other US states with similar privacy laws can use the same email, and we will honor the applicable rights.
Children
This site is for business audiences. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a minor has given us information, email legal@noontide.co and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top. For a material change, we will make a reasonable effort to let you know.
